I definitely like English most. I like it's sound, really =] and more an more people think I'm English when I speak English. On Monday, at work, there was this dialogue... First, the normal things to be said ("Hello, did you find everything,..." ) then...
customer: "Hey.. are you from Australia?" me: "ehm...no, I'm from Germany!" c: "Oh... you just speak like an Aussie!" me: "ehm... thank you? ^^" " c: "Oh, it's not that awkward as it's sometimes... it's really cute in this case! I love your aussie accent!"
At home, I just recognized (when watching Dr. House in English. I just like their voices better!).. yeah, I REALLY sound a bit like an Aussie. Oh my god, that means... I'm lazy and I sound a bit British. XD great! Although I tend to count in die Aussie way... i.e. 8 is "ait" not "eit". Haha, kinda like it. =D but... I do not mumble as some of them do. Really, I think people understand me very well. =)
... and I just recognized that there's nearly no difference for me between German and English. I really had to think about if I read some books in English or German when clients or friends asked me about... I was not sure if I read "the host" / "Seelen" in German or English. At home I looked it up - English! =D By now, I own so many English books... I should definitely NOT work in a bookstore!
